Travis is one of the amazing boys from my old ward back in Rose Park. He always hung out with two other boys and at one time I had a crush on every single one of them. I now look up to them as a big brother figure, because I know that if I need them to talk to I could go to them. I trust them and glad that I am so blessed to know Travis and his wonderful friends.
Travis and I having been writing back and forth for a little while now. He is the first missionary I have ever wrote and he is one of the reasons that I put this 'missionary writer' together. When he got the first letter I sent him, he replied and was thrilled to have heard from me. It made me feel special to be able to know that I made a difference in just one letter.
I would like to get that kind of reply from the other missionaries that I write. I know that I don't know most of the personally, but I think it would be nice to be able to receive a letter from someone new. Getting one letter from the same person is nice, but don't you think it would be nicer to receive some random letters at the same time?
I'm glad that I know Travis and would like to let him know that he is a huge part of my life. I love you like a big brother Travis!
I think of Travis when I am having a hard time and don't know what to do to make things better. I think of the letters he has written me and how he would help me back to my feet if I needed him to. He is strong and noble young man and I know for a fact that Heavenly Father is proud of him.
